H. Pylori Protocol

The Toxaprevent and Pylopass H. Pylori Protocol is a 35-day programme that pairs Pylopass™, inactivated L. reuteri DSM 17648 cells studied for their ability to latch on to H. pylori, with Toxaprevent Sachets, a medical-device zeolite that binds the ammonium H. pylori uses to shield itself from stomach acid. And histamine, which creates the symptoms associated with the stomach bacteria.

This is a 5-day clearance phase followed by a 30-day gut reset.

What the protocol delivers

• Removes the ammonium shield: H. pylori makes ammonia to neutralise the stomach acid around it. Toxaprevent has a strong natural affinity for ammonium and binds it in the stomach. Removing this 'shield'.
• Attaches to H. Pylori: Pylopass™ is the L. reuteri DSM 17648 strain studied in human trials for binding to H. pylori, forming clumps around the bacteria, and carrying it out of the stomach via your stool.
• Binds and clears histamine in the stomach: H. pylori infection is linked with releasing histamine in the stomach. Toxaprevent binds directly to histamine alongside ammonium.
• 30-day post-cleanse: Post-protocol cleanse designed to clear excess histamine and ammonium from the gut.
• Works with antibiotics and PPIs: Pylopass can be used alongside antibiotics and has been studied for this use.

H. pylori has three survival tools:

1. It releases an enzyme called urease that turns urea into ammonia to neutralise stomach acid
2. It has flagella that provide corkscrew movement to burrow into the mucus layer, which releases histamine from the stomach lining. This histamine release binds to Histamine 2 (H2) receptors on parietal cells, signalling them to pump out more stomach acid, which further damages the lining and can lead to ulcers.
3. Surface proteins that let it cling to the stomach lining.

The 35-day natural protocol is designed to work on all 3.

How the H. Pylori Protocol works

This protocol supports your gut in two simple ways. Toxaprevent binds the compounds H. pylori relies on to survive, which also add to your discomfort. Pylopass™ binds to the bacteria itself.

1. Toxaprevent binds ammonium and histamine
   Toxaprevent binds and clears excess ammonium and histamine in your stomach. Both are linked with H. pylori, and both add to digestive discomfort.

• Ammonium: protective shield. H. pylori surrounds itself with ammonia that neutralises the stomach acid around it, like a protective shield.
• Histamine: inflammation and symptoms. When your immune system spots H. pylori, mast cells in your stomach lining release histamine. This drives inflammation, and histamine also signals your stomach to make more acid. Together, these can add to symptoms such as indigestion, burning and discomfort.
  
  2. Pylopass™ binds to H. pylori
  Pylopass™ contains L. reuteri DSM 17648, a unique strain chosen because studies show it binds directly to H. pylori. Pylopass clumps together around H. pylori, making it harder for them to cling to your stomach lining, and they're carried out naturally from your gut through your stool.

Each product's role

• Toxaprevent Medi Plus sachets (purple box): Days 1 to 5, a higher dose to bind ammonium and histamine in the stomach. Days 6 to 35, one sachet taken daily each evening to keep lowering the histamine and ammonium load.
• Pylopass™ (one capsule daily): Binds directly to H. pylori, so it can be carried out with your bowel movements. Taken daily until you finish the pouch.
• Toxaprevent Medi Pure capsules (red box): From day 6, keeps binding ammonium and histamine lower down the gut and supports your gut lining.

Why the protocol has two phases

Days 1 to 5: Focus on the stomach, where H. pylori lives. High-dose sachets to remove the ammonium shield and histamine. Pylopass™ to reduce the bacteria load. And a 5-day low-protein diet, as when your body digests and breaks protein down, it releases ammonia, which H. pylori can convert and use to protect itself.

Days 6 to 35: A 30-day gut cleanse that keeps clearing what H. pylori leaves behind (histamine and ammonium), from stomach to colon, while supporting and strengthening your gut lining.

The protocol is designed to support in 3 ways:

1. Bind and clear the ammonium and histamine linked with H. pylori
2. Bind to H. pylori itself, so it's carried out naturally
3. Support your stomach and strengthen your gut lining as you recover

Works alongside your GP: in the UK, H. pylori is treated with a week of 2 different antibiotics plus an acid-reducing medicine (PPI). You can use this protocol before, during (with a 2-hour gap) or after that treatment, known as triple therapy. This protocol isn't a replacement for antibiotics if your GP recommends them.

The H. Pylori health pack contains the following products:

• Zeolite Clinoptilolite 2400 mg
• Calcium Carbonate - 420 mg
• Magnesium Carbonate - 180 mg

1 x Pylopass (L. reuteri DSM 17648), 200 mg per capsule, contains:

• Pylopass™ (L. reuteri DSM 17648) – 20 billion CFU
• Maize dextrin (carrier) and rice hull.
• Hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose (capsule shell - allergen-free)

1 x Toxaprevent Medi Pure Capsules. Each capsule contains:

• MANC® (Modified Activated Natural Clinoptilolite) – 400mg per capsule
• Capsule Shell (allergen-free): Cellulose, Gellan Gum (derived from pine)

Phase 1: Five day cleanse: Bind & Remove

Step 1: 8:00 am: Stir 3 x Toxaprevent Medi Plus Sachets into 200 ml of water and drink slowly over the next hour on an empty stomach.

Step 2: 9:00 am: Have a small carbohydrate, such as toast, crackers, or fruit, to stimulate acid production in the stomach, and take 1 x Pylopass capsule.

Step 3: 10:00 am: Stir 3 x Toxaprevent Medi Plus Sachets into 200 ml of water and drink slowly over the next hour

Step 4: 11:00 am: Again, have a small carbohydrate, such as toast, crackers, or fruit, to stimulate acid production in the stomach.

• Do not eat anything else until 12:00 pm (mid-day)
• Do not eat or drink anything extra from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (mid-day)

Important note for the five-day cleanse:

Over the five days, eating light meals without meat or fish is very important (ideally low-protein); you can replace these proteins with plant-based alternatives, i.e. beans, legumes, lentils, nuts, and seeds.

Avoid tea, coffee, and alcohol. Herbal teas are fine, such as chamomile, peppermint or tulsi, etc.

Why we suggest low protein for the H. Pylori protocol

We recommend avoiding high-protein meals. When our body breaks down protein, a byproduct of this is ammonium. H. pylori may use this to protect itself from being destroyed.

Phase 2: Gut Cleanse and Repair

After you finish the protocol, do the following daily for 30 days to continue mopping up and removing histamine and ammonium from the body:

• Continue taking 1 x Pylopass capsule daily until you finish them. You can take the capsule with or without food.
  
• Take 3 x Toxaprevent Medi Pure Capsules 1 hour before your morning meal with 300ml water. Take 3 x Toxaprevent Medi Pure Capsules 2 hours after your evening meal with 300ml water.
  
• Mix 1 x Toxaprevent Medi Plus with 300ml of water and drink 2 hours after your final meal of the day.

Please note:

• You can take the Toxaprevent Medi Plus Sachets and Toxaprevent Medi Pure Capsules together, but you must drink at least 600ml of water.
• Stay hydrated throughout the day; Toxaprevent needs water to move through the body
• Leave 2 hours between medication and Toxaprevent. Medication first.
• Eat plenty of soluble and insoluble fibre
