Pylopass - L. reuteri DSM 17648
Key Benefits
Pylopass™ contains one Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM17648, a single bacterial strain identified by screening more than 700 Lactobacillus strains for one specific characteristic: the ability to bind to Helicobacter pylori cells and reduce the bacterial load.
- Mechanism: Forms clumps around H.pylori cells, which coaggregate (attach) around the bacteria and slowly remove them from the stomach and into the stool, ready to be passed out.
- Postbiotic: Can be used alongside antibiotics. The strain is inactivated using a specialist spray-drying process and works autonomously in the stomach.
- Highly selective: In our trials, DSM17648 bound several different H. pylori strains, giving it versatility across the world.
- Stomach pH: Pylopass was unaffected by high or low stomach acid between pH 2 and 8. This makes it perfect for low-acid and high-acid environments. This allows it to be used alongside PPIs.
- No refrigeration needed: The cells are inactive, so it doesn't require refrigeration, meaning it's stable at room temperature and in warmer environments that don't affect its stability.
- 200mg per serving: One capsule delivers 20 billion cells, the daily amount used in all our clinical trials.
How It Works
Pylopass reduces the bacterial load of H. pylori.
Pylopass contains Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17648 and works mechanically in the stomach; it sticks to H. pylori cells, crowds around them, and then leaves the stomach together with the bacteria.
How Pylopass works in 4 steps:
- Travel: Pylopass makes it way into the stomach, where H. pylori lives in the stomach's mucus layer. Pylopass travels into the stomach, locating the bacteria.
- Binding (Coaggregating): It makes contact with the stomach bacteria, sticking to its surface and forming large clumps around the bacteria.
- Pulls: The clumps of Pylopass begin pulling the bacteria through the digestive tract and into the stool.
- Clear: Pylopass with the H. Pylori leaves the stomach through the stool. Reducing the bacterial load of Helicobacter.

How To Use
Take one capsule daily with or without food. The capsule can be opened and mixed with food if needed.
We suggest taking it daily for at least three months to feel the best effects. Pylopass can be used alongside antibiotics, proton pump inhibitors, acid blockers and antacids.
We recommend taking Pylopass with the Toxaprevent Sachets. Toxaprevent is designed to bind to histamine and ammonium, both produced by the bacteria.
