A heavy metal detox protocol that works with your body's natural detox pathways.

Our body is designed to get rid of heavy metals. The liver sends the heavy metals into bile, which flows into your gut. The issue is they can be reabsorbed further down in the gut and sent back round, a loop called enterohepatic recirculation. This heavy metal protocol breaks that loop. Toxaprevent binds metals in the gut so they leave with your stool instead of being recirculated.

What the heavy metal protocol delivers

1. Breaks the recycling loop. Toxaprevent binds the heavy metals in the gut, stopping them from being recirculated. Once Toxaprevent has bound to the heavy metal, it can not be unbound.
2. Binds lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and aluminium. Toxaprevent is a class 2b medical device that has been shown to bind to heavy metals in the body.
3. Gentle. Toxaprevent isn't absorbed into the bloodstream, muscles or tissues like other chelators. It works in the gut, drawing out heavy metals and leaving with them through your natural bowel movement.
4. Doesn't strip out minerals. Toxaprevent has been monitored long-term, and published white papers show that long-term use (i.e., daily for 1+ years) had no impact on a person's micronutrient or mineral levels.
5. Strengthens the gut barrier. Toxaprevent has shown that it can strengthen the gut and intestinal wall barrier.

Heavy metals such as lead, mercury and cadmium exist in the body as positively charged ions. MANC®, the purified zeolite clinoptilolite in Toxaprevent, has a negatively charged mineral structure. As Toxaprevent travels through your gut, it swaps minerals that it has been pre-loaded with for the heavy metals. Toxaprevent locks them inside its structure and carries them out, leaving the body inside your stool.

Think of Toxaprevent as a negatively charged magnetic garbage truck designed to remove the heavy metals, which in this scenario are positively charged rubbish.

1. Travel: Toxaprevent Sachets travel through and work in the Upper GI, and the Toxaprevent Capsules travel and work deeper in the Lower GI. The 'garbage trucks' travel to specific areas of the gut, picking up toxins.
2. Bind & Hold: Toxaprevent's active ingredient MANC® pulls or collects the heavy metals and holds them in the 'garbage truck'. Once Toxaprevent has bound to these toxins, they can not be re-released.
3. Remove: Toxaprevent, with the heavy metals, leaves the body through the stool. Stopping the heavy metals from being reabsorbed.

Taking Toxaprevent daily reduces the heavy metal burden from the body. We recommend taking both Toxaprevent products daily for three months, then choosing either the sachets or the capsules and continuing for three months.

What is MANC®?

MANC® stands for Modified Activated Natural Clinoptilolite. Clinoptilolite is a zeolite: a volcanic mineral formed when ash meets water, with a honeycomb structure full of channels. The structure carries a negative charge, which is why it attracts and holds positively charged compounds. Think of a magnet with south and north poles; the north attracts the south, and vice versa.

Raw zeolite varies enormously in purity and particle size. MANC® is purified, activated and milled to a controlled particle size (6 to 10 microns), works only in the gut and is not absorbed. It passes through the digestive tract, does its physical job and is not metabolised or broken down.

Why Toxaprevent is a medical device and not a food supplement

A food supplement is something that fixes a nutritional deficiency by adding key minerals or nutrients we are missing out on. However, Zeolites do not do this. They remove toxins from the body, but not all Zeolites are made the same.

Toxaprevent is classified as a class 2b medical device, and it has held this certification since 2006 because of its safety and quality standards. Toxaprevent is made under an independently audited medical-device quality system (ISO 13485 and 9001); it has a defined intended purpose, and the instructions for use in every box set out exactly how to take it. For three months: Full Protocol

Take 2 x Toxaprevent Medi Pure capsules daily, 30 minutes before a meal, up to 3 times daily, with 200ml of water.

Mix 1 x Toxaprevent Medi Plus sachet daily with 300ml of water and drink 2 hours after your evening meal.

After three months: Maintenance

Our research showed that following the protocol daily effectively reduced the heavy metal load. However, for maintenance, we recommend that, after the initial three-month protocol, you pick one Toxaprevent product and continue for a further three months.
